Gateway Air has announced the introduction of new flight routes and schedules as part of its efforts to expand operations and improve connectivity for travellers.

In a release made available to Journalists by the Consultant to the Governor on Aviation, Capt. Dapo Olumide.

According to the release, the new routes and revised flight timings will commence on Monday, 17th August, 2026 with an additional Thursday flight between Gateway International Airport and Abuja.

Recall that Gateway Air currently operates scheduled flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The release further stated that in addition to Gateway Air’s daily Lagos – Port Harcourt service, Gateway Air has now introduced a new early morning weekday flight from Abuja to Gateway International Airport via Lagos, departing Abuja at 6:00am and arriving Gateway at 8:20am.

The rescheduled weekday departure time from Gateway to Abuja is now 09:00am.

The Lagos-Gateway International Airport -Lagos sector is now open for sale with the Timetable as follows: Monday to Friday - Depart Abuja 6:00am. Arrive Lagos 07:15am, Monday to Friday - Depart Lagos 7:55am Arrive Gateway 08:20am, Monday to Friday - Depart Gateway 9:00am. Arrive Abuja 10:15am, Monday to Friday - Depart Abuja 4pm. Arrive Gateway 5:10pm, Monday to Friday - Depart Gateway 5:50pm. Arrive Lagos 6:20pm.

Gateway Air, therefore urges prospective passengers to take advantage of the new services and plan their journeys ahead of the commencement date.
