Popular Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has reportedly been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

The revelation was made by his daughter in a video appealing for assistance from members of the public.

She said the family was not necessarily seeking financial support but was looking for anyone who could provide traditional treatment or other forms of assistance that could complement the medical care the actor is receiving.

The actress’ daughter also acknowledged the financial support provided by Senator Adeola Solomon Yayi, saying he had been assisting the family.

However, she appealed for additional help, particularly from individuals with alternative treatment options, as the family continues to seek ways to support the actor.

Taiwo Hassan is a veteran Nigerian actor who has featured in numerous Yoruba-language and English-language Nollywood productions.
