​The Ogun State Government has commissioned a newly built Primary Health Care Centre,  along with newly constructed and renovated classrooms across several wards in Ipokia Local Government Area to boost grassroots healthcare and primary education.

​Speaking during  the commissioning, the State  Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, affirmed the present administration's commitment to delivering quality healthcare and modern learning environments for pupils in rural and urban areas alike.

​Represented by the Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Dr. Rotimiolu Akinlesi, Hamzat commended the Council Chairman for the judicious use of allocated funds, stating that the completed projects would directly impact residents and noted their  alignment with Governor Dapo Abiodun’s ISEYA development agenda.

​Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Babatunde Emilola-Gazal, stated that the classroom projects would ease overcrowding and boost primary school enrollment, urging the Council leadership to sustain the momentum.

​In his remarks, Ipokia LGA Chairman, Hon. Johnson Avoseh, thanked the Governor for fostering an enabling environment,  revealing that the State support had enabled his administration to execute 11 key infrastructure projects aimed at delivering the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

Hon. ​Avoseh,  added that the new health facility would curb maternal and child mortality by bringing quality medical services closer to the people, while reiterating his administration's resolve to prioritise educational development.

​Community beneficiaries, Mr. Agboku Joshua and Mr. Johnson Kujegan, expressed gratitude for the intervention, describing the health center as an answer to their long-standing pleas, while pledging to safeguard the facility.

​Similarly, the Headteacher, Mrs. Balogun Muinat, represented by the Assistant Headteacher Mrs. Adamu Tawakalitu of Idojori Primary School, noted that the new block of two classrooms, completed with an office and pupils furniture, would enhance teaching efficiency and improve overall academic performance.
