SUBEB Chairman Urges Remo Indigenes To Remain United - The Alternative News

The Chairman of the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Evangelist Olalekan Ifede, has urged members of the Association of Remo Indigenes in the Public Service of Ogun State, popularly known as ‘Omo Remo On Top,’ to remain united in order to achieve their collective aspirations.


Ifede, a worthy son of Remoland, made the remark, while receiving the executive members of the association in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta,  stressed the importance of unity and cooperation, noting that disunity could hinder progress and development.





The SUBEB Chairman commended the outgoing President of the association for laying a solid foundation for the incoming executive and assured members of his continued support for their programmes.


He highlighted areas of support in the Civil and Public Service matters that included; employment opportunities, career advancement and appointments, encouraging members to consistently distinguish themselves positively in their respective place of work and give maximum support to the new leadership.





Earlier, the President-elect of the association, who also doubles as the Director of Administration and Supplies at the Bureau of Lands and Survey, Mrs. Olamide Sokoya, said the visit was aimed at identifying with the Board and to formally introduce the newly elected executive members.




In his remark, the outgone President of the association and Auditor-General for Local Government, Mr. Abdul Olayinka, lauded Ifede, for his transformative leadership, noted that the association would always be proud of his achievements and reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining unity among members.
