Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the emotional challenges, public scrutiny and rumours he and his actress wife, Mo Bimpe, faced before welcoming their triplet sons.

In a reflective post shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the actor said the couple endured mockery, stigma, assumptions and hurtful comments during their waiting period but deliberately chose not to respond to their critics.

“They spoke, Allah answered,” Adedimeji wrote.

He explained that although there were moments when they could have defended themselves or responded to the rumours, they chose silence because they trusted that Allah was writing their story.

Adedimeji described the arrival of their three sons as evidence of divine timing and answered prayers, saying the things people once mocked had ultimately become their testimony.

He wrote that what others believed would break them, Allah used to strengthen them, adding that while people had their opinions, Allah had a greater plan for their lives.

The actor also praised his wife for standing by him throughout the difficult period, thanking her for remaining strong and believing despite the pressure they faced.

Addressing their children, Adedimeji said they were prayed for, waited for and deeply desired, adding that they arrived at what he described as Allah’s most beautiful time.

He concluded by saying he no longer seeks revenge or explanations, but simply wants to give thanks to Allah.

“Sometimes the best response to those who counted you out is to let them watch Allah count your blessings.”

The couple welcomed their triplet boys in May 2026, prompting widespread celebrations and congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues and well-wishers. Mo Bimpe has also shared emotional moments ahead of the couple’s grand thanksgiving ceremony for the children.
