As some youths across the country are planning to embark on protest across the country on the 1st of August to show their grievances over the situation in the country, the Progressive Youth Ambassadors (PYA) has appealed to the Youths in the country to shun the plan protest and embrace calmness with the government, stressing that there can only be progress in a peaceful atmosphere devoid of chaos and violence.

According to a statement issued by the PYA National Publicity Secretary, Amb. Mudasiru Quadri Olanrewaju signed by the PYA National Chairman, Amb. Kayode David Idowu and made available to online news platform, stressed that the present administration of President Bola Tinubu is performing well, adding that all the programs and interventions are resulting in good shape, and as such, the President needs to be supported by all and sundry of the country.

Amb. Kayode enjoined the youths to work towards a unified front to engage in governance and hold our States and not the Federal Government accountable by checkmating excesses and expose those working against Nigeria's progress, emphasize the role of 36 State Governors in ensuring citizen welfare and security, promoting constructive dialogue and collaboration for meaningful change among others.

He however, appealed to the teeming youths to shun such a divisive act as the peace of the country is fragile and we need stability to achieve progress, saying protesters should remember that, the deficit ENDSARS protest brought us still yet unattended.

It will be very great and important if the Youths energy could be channel into Advocate of Good Governance for the Government, Participating in the community engagement, Supporting the Government policies and programmes.

It is essential to be patient with the Federal Government led by His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he navigates the situation with caution  and determination." he said.
