The Ogun State House of Assembly has received a list of nominees for appointment into the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) from Governor Dapo Abiodun, with screening scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, made this known during plenary on Tuesday, noting that the governor’s correspondence requested the screening and confirmation of nine nominees.
The nominees include:Hon. Ifede Joshua, Barr. Femi Odufowokan, Hon. Isiaka Aderounmu, Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun, Mrs. Kemi Adeogun, Hon. Wale Adeogun, Hon. Waheed Ogundele, Mr. Stephen Kolawole Odusanya, and Hon. Moroof Paramole.
Speaker Elemide directed all nominees to submit 30 copies of their curriculum vitae and other relevant credentials to the Office of the Clerk/Head of Legislative Service at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the screening.
The SUBEB board plays a critical role in shaping basic education policy and implementation across public primary and junior secondary schools in the state.
