President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a successful two-nation diplomatic mission to Saint Lucia and Brazil.
The visit began on June 28, 2025, with a four-day official stay in Saint Lucia, where President Tinubu held high-level meetings with Governor-General Cyril Charles and Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre.
He also addressed a special joint sitting of the Saint Lucian Parliament and signed a Technical Manpower Assistance agreement. The pact aims to deploy Nigerian professionals, such as teachers, doctors, and engineers, to support development efforts in Saint Lucia and other OECS member states.
Following his engagements in Saint Lucia, the President traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he represented Nigeria at the 17th BRICS Summit, held from July 5 to 7, 2025.
The diplomatic mission is part of President Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s international partnerships and promote regional cooperation.
