Real Madrid has reportedly reached an agreement with FIFA to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup Final at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, according to Marca.
The deal was finalized during a meeting between Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and FIFA president Gianni Infantino in the United States, coinciding with the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup.
The 2030 World Cup will be co-hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, marking the first time the tournament will be held across three nations on two continents.
Real Madrid has long lobbied for the prestigious final to be held at the renovated Santiago Bernabéu, which is considered one of the most advanced stadiums in the world following its extensive redevelopment.
Meanwhile, the most recent edition of the World Cup, held in Qatar in 2022, was won by Argentina, who defeated France in a dramatic final decided by penalty shootout after a thrilling 3-3 draw in regulation and extra time.
