Fresh FM, the popular radio station owned by gospel musician Yinka Ayefele, has been gutted by fire in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

PUNCH ONLINE reports that the incident occurred on Friday evening and was confirmed by a staff member of the station, Sanuel Ibikunle Arugboboisi, who raised the alarm in a Facebook post.

“Fresh FM is currently on fire! We urgently need the Fire Service to respond immediately,” Arugboboisi wrote, urging emergency responders and residents to assist in containing the blaze.

At the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire had not been ascertained, and there were no immediate details on casualties or the extent of damage.
