The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed confidence that Nigerians will once again vote for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, Yilwatda disclosed that the ruling party had already thrown its weight behind the president’s second-term ambition.

“At the summit of the party, the governors, National Assembly members, and the entire membership in attendance endorsed President Tinubu as their preferred candidate for 2027,” he said.

The APC chairman emphasized that the party operates on the principle of internal democracy, stressing that its leadership would continue to align with the collective decision of its members.

“Nigerians voted Tinubu as president in 2023; they will do the same in 2027,” Yilwatda affirmed confidently.
