Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved this year 2025 National Day Independence to be celebrated on a low-key with the following activities.

        A release signed by the Head of Service Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, stated that a Special Jumat Service would hold on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Central Mosque, Kobiti, Abeokuta by 12noon, while Interdenominational Church Service will hold on Sunday, 28th September, 2025 at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter, Ake, Abeokuta by 10:00am.

        It added that the Grand Finale would hold on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the Arcade Ground, Office of the Governor, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta by 10:00am, noting that Permanent Secretaries and Chief Executives of Government Agencies are to ensure that at list 5 Public/Civil Servants from Grade Level 07 and above, representing their MDAs, are expected to attend the programme.
