Sammy West, brother to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, appeared again before a Magistrate Court in Dutse, Abuja, on Wednesday, November 26, as his ongoing legal battle allegedly connected to his sister’s estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, intensifies.

Sammy, who was granted bail on November 10, 2023, had earlier spent several days in detention. Reports by Legit.ng indicate that he was first held at the Keffi Prison before being transferred to Suleja Prison. His arrest in Lagos was reportedly tied to the public rift between Regina Daniels and Senator Nwoko.

In a video shared online, Sammy filmed himself and his wife at the courthouse, adding a clip of Regina and their older brother, Sweezy, spending time together in the United Kingdom. He captioned the post:

“Your siblings are vibing in the UK while you go for court case.”
