Popular Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, has rejected an alleged $10,000 settlement offer from the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor.
The actress made this known in a video recorded on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, and shared on her Instagram page on Saturday morning.
In the video, Ogala claimed that Pastor Okafor approached her with the money as part of a settlement and pleaded with her to publicly retract allegations she had previously made against him.
According to the actress, the cleric allegedly asked her to state that certain pastors sponsored her to make the accusations and to subsequently debunk all her earlier claims.
Providing details of the alleged meeting, Ogala said she received $5,000 the previous night and another $5,000 the following afternoon, bringing the total to $10,000.
“This is $10,000. He gave me $5,000 last night after we talked and pleaded, and another $5,000 this afternoon," she said.
Ogala strongly rejected the request, insisting she would not lie or shift blame to other pastors.
“You wanted me to come out and say some pastors sent me to fight you, and then I should debunk everything I said. After all I have said? I will never lie,” she stated.
The actress further emphasized that accepting the money did not mean she was retracting her statements, stressing that she deliberately collected it to show the public that the offer was made.
“This money will never be a transaction of anything in my life or my body. I collected it so the world will see that you actually gave me money. Everything I said is the truth,” she added.
Ogala also dismissed claims of blackmail, stating that $10,000 meant nothing to her and reaffirming her refusal to implicate any other pastor.
She concluded by noting that the video was recorded at 5:39 p.m. on December 23, 2025, and showed the money inside a Zenith Bank envelope.
DAILY POST reports that this development comes just days after the actress disclosed that table talks and reconciliation efforts were ongoing between both parties.
