The Al-Hayat Relief Foundation has underscored the importance of its newly introduced online application system for members, describing it as a significant step towards transitioning from paper-based processes to digital operations.
The Vice-President, Abeokuta Zone, Mr. Nurudeen Waheed, stated this during a visitation to the foundation’s branch at Abule-Oloni, Abeokuta. He explained that the foundation, which has been in existence for 29 years, ought to have recorded notable progress in digitalisation in line with global best practices.
Mr. Waheed noted that some international organisations that understudied the Al-Hayat Relief Foundation in Nigeria have already embarked on developmental programmes aimed at strengthening their operational systems.
According to him, “Al-Hayat is not a local organisation but an international one. Today, any organisation that seeks international recognition must operate with software.”
Highlighting the benefits of the online application, he said the platform would enable members to monitor their applications, track individual financial status, prevent financial fraud, and identify inactive or absent members, among other advantages.
He urged members to cooperate with the foundation by embracing and effectively utilising the online application, adding that any challenges encountered should be reported through the designated platform for prompt resolution.
Responding on behalf of members, the branch Chairman, Mr. Mukhtar Abolade, appreciated the Vice-President and his entourage for the visit and assured that members would strictly adhere to the directives.
