Popular TikTok content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has announced that he has secured admission to study Law at a private university in Lagos State.
Peller made the disclosure in a video that went viral on Saturday, where he expressed excitement over the development and addressed critics who had previously mocked his educational background.
In the video, the TikTok star was seen walking into a building with a statue of justice at the entrance, suggesting that his admission into the institution marked a new chapter in his life and public perception.
According to him, although he has gained admission into a private university in Lagos, he has chosen not to reveal the name of the institution.
“Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person who didn’t attend university. Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school,” he said.
“I’m now studying law. You can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law,” he added.
PUNCH Online reports that the TikToker has long been subjected to online criticism, with some users describing him as “lousy and uneducated.”
Earlier this month, Peller had revealed plans to further his education, stating that the decision was partly motivated by his desire to improve his spoken English, which he described as “bad.”
