President Bola Tinubu will on Monday embark on a one-day working visit to Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, the Presidency has announced.
The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday, noting that the visit comes less than 48 hours after Tinubu undertook a similar trip to Kebbi State.
According to Onanuga, the President will inaugurate several completed projects and also meet with top government officials and traditional rulers during the visit.
Among the projects slated for commissioning is the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road linking Gimba and Yola. A model school comprising pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary sections will also be inaugurated.
Other projects billed for inauguration include a new multipurpose hall, a remodelled High Court complex, a newly built officers’ complex, and a renovated Government House.
Onanuga further stated that the President will return to Abuja after inaugurating the projects and interacting with stakeholders and residents of the state.
Tinubu had recently visited Kebbi State to attend the annual Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, an event aimed at promoting national unity, peace, and agricultural development. The festival also highlighted the commitment of Kebbi farmers to strengthening the nation’s agricultural sector and advancing food security.
