The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Princess Surah Animashaun has inspected ongoing construction and development work at the Museum centre located within the secretariat, as part of the urban regeneration scheme of her administration.
Princess Animashaun said that her administration has succeeded in rewriting Epe's developmental stride, which she said must be sustained in the council area of Lagos state.
"Indeed, those projects within the council is part of my unwavering commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage and historical identity of Epe, and we are promising to sustain the tempo of the ongoing construction works across the council area of the state," Princess Animashaun said.
She noted that the inspection underscored her administration’s dedication to promoting culture, history, and tourism while creating a befitting space that would showcase the remarkable story, noting that traditions, values, and legacy of the Epe people would continue to be her priority for generations to come.
Princess Animashaun said that upon completion, the project is expected to serve as a major cultural landmark and a source of pride for the entire Epe Division, hence, further reinforcing the Chairman’s vision of preserving the past while building a progressive and prosperous future for Epe people.
