Sisters of Jannah Abeokuta Concludes 2026 Ramadan Care Project with Iftar Outreach

The Abeokuta Zone of Sisters of Jannah (SoJ) has officially marked the successful completion of its 2026 Ramadan Care Project. The second and final phase of the initiative was hosted at the Old FUNAAB Campus Central Mosque, located at NEPA Road, Abeokuta metropolis.

As part of the outreach, the organization distributed over 150 packaged meals, consisting of Jollof rice and chicken , to worshippers observing Itikaf (spiritual seclusion) at the mosque.

Presenting the meals on behalf of the organization, the Chairperson of the Zone's Ramadan Committee, Sister Alli Rashidat, emphasized that the project is an annual tradition rooted in community and appreciation.

She highlighted the special bond between the organization and the mosque, which has served as the zone’s meeting venue since its inception.

"It is important that we extend our hand of love to the Masjid and its environs," Sister Rashidat stated. "The management of this Masjid accepted us with open arms many years ago, despite not being an affiliate of SoJ. We have held our monthly meetings here for years, and this is our way of giving back.

Representatives of the Central Mosque received the donations with deep appreciation, thanking Sisters of Jannah for their consistent inclusion of the mosque and the surrounding community in their charitable endeavors.

The mosque leadership offered prayers for the continued growth and sustenance of the group, encouraging the members to remain steadfast in their mission to serve humanity.
