The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved a fresh extension of timelines for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The revised timetable was announced on Monday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement shared via the party’s official 𝕏 handle.

According to Morka, the sale of forms will now continue until midnight on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, while aspirants who have already purchased forms have until midnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026, to submit their completed documents.

He explained that the extension is aimed at giving interested aspirants additional time to obtain and return their forms as part of the party’s internal processes leading to the 2027 elections.

The party also announced adjustments to its screening schedule. Under the new arrangement, screening of aspirants will take place from Friday, May 8, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

This will be followed by the publication of the list of screened aspirants on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Although no official reason was provided for the extension, the adjustment affects key pre-primary activities, including the sale and submission of forms as well as the screening process, indicating efforts by the party to accommodate more aspirants while keeping its timetable on track.
