The Chief Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and member representing Ijebu Ode Constituency, Bakare Omolola Olanrewaju Serifat, has withdrawn from the forthcoming primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the state assembly.
The lawmaker announced her decision in a statement made available to journalists, citing the interest of the party as the reason for stepping down.
