Aletheia University has officially commenced admissions into its 2026/2027 Academic Session, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for its wide range of accredited undergraduate programmes across diverse disciplines.
Announcing the commencement of the admission exercise, the Vice-Chancellor of Aletheia University, Prof. Olukayode Dewumi Akinyemi, reaffirmed the institution's commitment to delivering quality education anchored on excellence, innovation, integrity, and global competitiveness.
According to the Vice-Chancellor, prospective students can apply to study programmes in the Colleges of Arts, Management and Social Sciences, Engineering, Law, Nursing Science, Medical and Health Sciences, Agriculture, Information Technology, and several other academic fields designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and practical skills required for today's dynamic world.
Prof. Akinyemi disclosed that candidates with a minimum UTME score of 160 are eligible for admission into selected programmes, while competitive courses require higher scores of 180 and above, depending on the programme of choice.
He further noted that the University's JUPEB Programme provides an alternative pathway for qualified candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into 200 Level, enabling students to accelerate their academic and professional aspirations.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that Aletheia University's academic programmes continue to receive recognition from relevant professional and regulatory bodies. He stated that the University's Law programme has received full accreditation from the Council of Legal Education (CLE), while the Nursing Science programme enjoys full accreditation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Other programmes also have the necessary approvals from professional bodies, including the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) and other regulatory agencies, ensuring graduates are trained to meet both national and international standards.
To make quality education more accessible, Prof. Akinyemi announced that the University's Founders' Scholarship Scheme offers generous tuition rebates to deserving students. Under the initiative, students admitted into Agriculture programmes enjoy a 100% tuition rebate, while those in the College of Arts, Management and Social Sciences (COLAMS) receive a 50% tuition rebate. Students pursuing Science and Technology-related programmes are also entitled to a 25% tuition rebate, providing significant financial relief for parents and guardians.
In addition, he explained that the University operates a flexible tuition payment plan, allowing parents to pay school fees in convenient installments without compromising the quality of education their children receive.
Beyond academics, Aletheia University provides students with a conducive learning environment featuring modern teaching facilities, state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment, comfortable hostel accommodation that offers a true "home-away-from-home" experience, and a well-equipped cafeteria to support students' welfare throughout their studies.
Prof. Akinyemi also highlighted the University's unique 4-in-1 Certification model, designed to produce globally competitive graduates through academic excellence, professional competence, entrepreneurship, and character development.
He encouraged prospective students seeking careers in law, engineering, medicine, nursing, agriculture, science, communication, technology, business, and other professional fields to take advantage of the opportunities available at Aletheia University.
