The Ogun State Government, under Governor Dapo Abiodun, has approved the combined 2025/2026 promotion exercise for all eligible officers across the State.

In a Release by the Permanent Secretary of the Ogun State Civil Service Commission, Mr. Jola Oyeneye, directed Accounting Officers of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to compile the names of all eligible officers to ensure that no one is omitted.

It added that Accounting Officers and Directors of Administration and Supplies must take personal responsibility for verifying the accuracy and completeness of submissions, while the lists may be submitted in hard copy or electronically (flash drive) by email to dpd.civilservice@ogunstate.gov.ng or via WhatsApp on 09120725812 on or before Friday, 2 October 2026.

The Release further indicated that in preparation for the oral interview, all eligible candidates are required to obtain a copy of the official publication of ‘Managing a Bureaucracy Vol. 9’ as officers will also be required to present a copy of their most recent promotion gazette alongside the publication for verification at interview venues.

          To streamline payments, MDAs should collate names, collect bank tellers from Block A, Room 246 at the Civil Service Commission, and arrange bulk payments on behalf of their staff.
