The Director of Administration and Supplies at the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mr. Femi Fatade, has described the appointment of Evangelist Olalekan Ifede as the new Executive Chairman of the Board as a “divine choice” by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Speaking during a courtesy interaction, Fatade expressed confidence that Evangelist Ifede’s leadership would address the various challenges confronting the Board. He cited Ifede’s track record as former Chairman of the Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), noting that his outstanding performance there has already proven his capacity to lead effectively.
“Evangelist Ifede is a seasoned administrator par excellence, a unifying factor, and a true team player,” His appointment has rekindled hope for the upliftment of basic education standards in Ogun State," Fatade said.
He also lauded Hon. Ajayi, Permanent Member III of SUBEB, for the transformation initiatives he spearheaded within just six weeks in office, saying his efforts in improving infrastructure and resolving internal issues have laid a strong foundation for the new administration.
He assured the new Executive Chairman of the full cooperation and support of all staff across the Local Government Education Authorities and the Board headquarters, while wishing him a successful and impactful tenure.
