Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Katsina State on Tuesday afternoon, accompanying the body of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Shortly before his arrival, President Bola Tinubu also landed at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport to officially receive the remains.

Following military formalities at the airport, Buhari’s body will be transported to his hometown Daura for state funeral rites and final burial.
