Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adekunle Olapade, has alleged that he was recently “kidnapped” and detained for eight hours by operatives of the Nigerian Police Force.

Sharing his experience on social media, the Lagos-based reality TV star claimed that he was manhandled and handcuffed during the incident.

Adekunle stated that the outcome of the encounter could have been tragic if not for divine intervention. However, he did not disclose the circumstances that led to his alleged arrest or abduction.

“What a night! [I was] kidnapped, harassed and handcuffed by the Nigerian Police Force in the last 8 hours. This story could have been a completely different one, and no one would have known. But glory be to God, I’m alive today,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force is yet to react to Adekunle’s claims.
