The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports circulating online on the alleged cost of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections, describing the claims as false and misleading.

In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party clarified that no decision has been taken regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the upcoming polls.

According to the party, the information being widely shared did not originate from its official channels.

“The report is fake and did not emanate from the Party. To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” the statement read.

The APC urged its members, media organisations, and the general public to disregard the claims and refrain from spreading unverified information.

The party noted that the speculation gained traction on social media platforms, where unconfirmed figures — including claims that the presidential nomination form would cost ₦200 million — were widely circulated.

Reiterating its position, the APC maintained that no official pricing has been announced for any category of nomination forms ahead of the 2027 elections, advising stakeholders to rely solely on verified communications from the party regarding its electoral processes.
