Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, at his residence in Abuja.
Atiku disclosed this in a statement shared via his official X handle, stating that the meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange ideas on strengthening the party.
He described the engagement as productive, noting that discussions were centred on repositioning the ADC and enhancing public trust in Nigeria’s democratic process.
According to him, the talks focused on strategies to consolidate the party’s structure and restore confidence among Nigerians in the nation’s democracy.
The meeting comes amid ongoing political realignments and consultations ahead of future electoral contests, as key stakeholders continue to explore avenues for building a stronger opposition platform.
