The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has stated that Nigeria’s next president ahead of the 2027 general elections has already been determined by God.

Adeboye made the remark while addressing church workers during the May edition of the Holy Ghost Service, stressing that the outcome of the election is beyond human control and will ultimately align with divine will.

The cleric also used the occasion to offer marital guidance to young men, warning that decisions about marriage should not be based solely on physical attraction or social status.

He emphasised the importance of prayer and spiritual discernment, cautioning that failure to seek divine guidance could lead to costly mistakes.

“There are many demons that are very beautiful. If you marry because of beauty, you might choose a demon. I’m not saying all beautiful people are demonic. If it’s beauty alone that leads you into marriage, it’s a deep trap,” he said.

Adeboye further advised men to prioritise domestic competence and moderation, urging them not to marry partners who lack basic home management skills or promote extravagant lifestyles that could lead to financial strain.

He also cautioned against excessive use of cosmetics and artificial enhancements, encouraging men to look beyond outward appearances.

Referencing the biblical figure Jezebel, Adeboye warned against vanity, noting that true character should take precedence over physical presentation.

He reiterated that both spiritual guidance and practical wisdom are essential in making life decisions, including marriage and leadership choices.
